Bates Engineers/Contractors, Inc. provides Design/Build and construct only services for industrial clients throughout the Southeastern US. A close association with industry leaders in power generation, oil refining, wood products, textile/synthetic fibers and food processing has allowed us to gain substantial experience in design and construction of industrial facilities that house complex equipment and mechanical systems. Working with clients to understand their facility and process needs is an integral part of the building life cycle at Bates.

Bates Engineers/Contractors was incorporated in May 1962 as Bates & Associates. Over our 45+ year history, we have worked diligently to develop a close relationship with various industrial clients who have afforded us the opportunity to design and construct a multitude of projects. This repeat business is a major portion of our volume each year. We continue to be dedicated to the development of long term relationships by providing our clients with personnel who attend to even the smallest details. As with any general contractor, a major portion of our success has been due to our association with excellent, dedicated subcontractors enabling us to provide quality construction at an affordable price. We are proud of the fact that we have many subcontractors who have teamed with us for over 20 years.
